During her studies she was awarded the John Milne Purvis Prize and received a major travelling scholarship, enabling her to study medieval and Etruscan art in Italy — influences that subtly inform the structural clarity and symbolic undertones in her later work.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\n\u003cp\u003eMuir’s paintings frequently explore flowers, vessels, textiles and architectural space, balancing intimacy with compositional discipline.
