Her work is associated particularly with still life and interior compositions, often using flowers, vessels, textiles and architectural space. She was elected to the Royal Scottish Society of Painters in Watercolour in 2019.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eJack Firth was born in Edinburgh in 1917 and studied at Edinburgh College of Art from 1935 to 1939, where his teachers included William Gillies, John Maxwell and William MacTaggart.
