Returning to London, he briefly taught before committing to full-time painting. Known for vivid, emotionally resonant works from extensive international travel, his subjects span India, Mozambique, Gambia, Vietnam, Cuba, and France, alongside occasional British scenes. He primarily paints acrylic on board, building richly coloured compositions with bold brushwork and strong tonal design.
