Crag Bank Art is a small business in North Lancashire that sources, researches and handles every painting personally. Nothing appears on this site by accident. Each work has a story, and considerable time is often spent uncovering it: the artist, the provenance, the history. Some trails go cold, but the pursuit builds knowledge and sharpens judgement with every search.

The collection spans British and European painting from the nineteenth century through to the post-war period, with particular strength in Scottish, Northern, Cornish and Irish work, alongside British Impressionism and Continental schools.

A bespoke finding service is also available for collectors looking for something specific. Works are sourced from auction houses, artists & the trade, with the same care and research applied to every acquisition.
