About the Artist

Bryan Evans (born 1964) was born in Pembrokeshire, Wales, and studied at Dyfed College of Art and Loughborough College of Art and Design, including a period at Glasgow School of Art. Based in Glasgow, he describes himself as “Glaswelshian”, reflecting his Welsh roots and Scottish artistic life.

His practice includes watercolour, etching, aquatint and mezzotint, with subjects ranging from urban architecture to the human figure. His work has been exhibited at Glasgow Print Studio, including the 2014 exhibition Glasgow Portrait, and has been represented by Fotheringham Gallery in Scotland.
