About the Artist
Keith James Gardner (1933–2025) was a respected British landscape painter best known for his expressive oil paintings of coastal, harbour and rural scenes. He trained at Liverpool Art College and developed a confident, painterly style with a strong sensitivity to light and atmosphere. Elected an Associate of the Royal Cambrian Academy in 1977 and a full member in 1983, Gardner exhibited widely throughout the UK. His work remains popular with collectors and interior buyers, particularly his coastal and Scottish subjects.

The painting is housed in a beautiful wooden frame that complements the artwork beautifully and allows it to be displayed immediately without the need for reframing.
