Description

About the Artist
Whilst the artist cannot yet be determined, it is in the manner of Henry John Kinnaird (1861–1929) who was a respected British watercolourist known for his harvest scenes and depictions of horse-drawn carts. He exhibited at the Royal Academy and worked within the circle of artists associated with the Royal Watercolour Society. The embossed RWS blindstamp present on this work suggests it may have been submitted for exhibition or reviewed within their professional network.
