Sara Downham (Downham-Lotto) — Mixed Media
“Arrochar Alps – The Cobbler”

Atmospheric abstract landscape exhibited in the 1998 “Sacred Spaces” exhibition, Kingfisher Gallery, Edinburgh.

Description

An atmospheric abstract landscape by British artist Sara Downham, created for the 1998 “Sacred Spaces” exhibition at Kingfisher Gallery, Edinburgh. The composition evokes the dramatic forms of the Arrochar Alps, capturing the presence of “The Cobbler” through layered textures and expressive mark-making.

Richly built with mixed media on paper, the work demonstrates Downham’s characteristic emotional depth and sensitivity to landscape abstraction. Professionally framed under glass and ready to hang, it offers both decorative impact and serious collector appeal.
