Description
A signed original watercolour by renowned Scottish artist Gregor McFarlane Smith RSW, titled “Lochan, Black Mount, Rannoch Moor”. This beautifully composed work captures the expansive light and atmosphere of one of Scotland’s most iconic landscapes, rendered in Smith’s distinctive semi-abstract style.
Broad washes, subtle tonal transitions and expressive mark-making combine to evoke the shifting moods of the Highlands. The richness of colour and sense of depth make this a particularly striking example of the artist’s work.
Presented mounted, framed and under glass, the piece is ready to hang and would make a superb addition to any collection of Scottish or contemporary landscape art.
