About the Artist
Tim Goulding (b.1945, Dublin) is a senior member of Aosdána and one of Ireland’s most respected landscape painters. He has exhibited widely since the 1960s and represented Ireland at the 1971 Paris Biennale. His work is held in the Irish Museum of Modern Art as well as major public and private collections. Known for merging lyrical realism with textured, emotional interpretations of the West Cork and Kerry landscapes, Goulding has lived and worked in Allihies since the 1960s.
